Greetings from Carole Taylor ... your Weekly Update ~ November 20

Nitric Oxide is involved in almost every vital bodily function ~ changes in the brain, dilation of blood vessels, increasing blood flow, beating of the heart, airway relaxation, regulation of intestinal movement and the immune system, and much more.

In 1992, Nitric Oxide (NOx) was honored as “Molecule of the Year” and hailed as a 'miracle molecule' because of its extraordinary importance in the health of virtually every cell in the body.

In fact, the scientists who discovered nitric oxide's central role in relaxing blood vessels, promoting blood flow and boosting blood oxygen, were awarded the Nobel Prize in 1992.

How Does The Body Produce Nitric Oxide?

Nitric oxide is a gas. Body cells manufacture it through a complex process that first converts nitrates into nitrites and then finally into nitric oxide as needed.

The nitrates that fuel the process can be found in many common vegetables such as beets and spinach.

The conversion process starts in your mouth. Your mouth and saliva contain oral bacteria with enzymes that are highly effective at breaking down nitrate in foods into the more bioactive nitrite. The nitrite is then circulated through the bloodstream.

Some antibacterial mouthwashes and toothpastes can actually prevent this beneficial step. It’s a good reason to not mix your mouthwash with your nitrates if you want them to be effective.

Once the nitrite is available in the bloodstream, cells throughout the body convert the nitrite into nitric oxide as required.

AMPED NOx

AMPED NOx is a liquid supplement comprised of nitrate-rich vegetable extracts like beetroot and celery and polyphenol-rich fruit extracts like grape and bilberry.

Studies have shown that nitrate-rich vegetable extracts can support nitric oxide production and blood flow for up to 24 hours, reaching peak concentration approximately two to three hours after ingestion.

A recent study found AMPED NOx significantly increased blood plasma nitrates and nitrites in the test subjects, indicating better nitric oxide bioavailability. NOx also supported healthy blood pressure.

NOx In The Circulatory System

Nitric oxide release can support blood flow throughout the body. Nitrates can also help protect against blood vessel stiffness that can impair blood flow.

Scientists studying the role of nitric oxide in cardiovascular health and neurologic aging have shown the benefits of supplementing nitric oxide in order to maintain heart and vascular health.

NOx and Performance

During exercise, there is a constant exchange of oxygen and nutrients being delivered to working muscles and waste products being transferred away.

When oxygen and nutrient-rich blood cannot keep up with the demand, fatigue sets in. The nitrate-rich vegetable extracts in AMPED NOx support healthy blood flow while fighting fatigue.

NOx and the Brain

Your brain comprises merely two to three percent of your total body weight yet consumes 20 to 25 percent of your body’s oxygen supply.

Blood vessel stiffness, specifically in the brain, is associated with cognitive decline. Studies have found the use of nitrate-rich liquids helps combat this brain blood vessel stiffness through support of nitric oxide production.

Studies evaluating supplementation with dietary nitrates suggest greater support for transport of glucose, oxygen, and other nutrients to protect brain cells and the brain’s electrical signalling network.

AMPED NOx delivers a performance boost with vegetable-sourced nitrates for supporting healthy blood flow.
