Greetings from Carole Taylor ... your Weekly Update ~ October 30

Cleanse Days are about letting your body rest and recharge. Cleanse Days aren’t complicated, but they can seem a bit intimidating at first.

Cleanse Days are flexible and, as long as you follow some basic guidelines, you can choose your way to cleanse while nourishing your body and ensuring success.

Start with Shake Days

If starting an Isagenix System with Nutritional Cleansing is a big change from your usual habits, completing more Shake Days before a Cleanse may be the best way to ensure a successful experience.

A minimum of two Shake Days should be completed before starting a Cleanse Day. Once you have mastered Shake Days, you will be much better prepared to complete a successful Cleanse Day.

Cleanse Days are flexible

If you don’t feel ready to try a full day at first, there’s nothing wrong with gradually easing into Cleanse Days. You might prefer to start out with a 12- or 16-hour mini cleanse as a way to experiment and see what works best for you.

In this approach, you begin your day by following a Cleanse Day schedule and then break your fast in the evening with an IsaLean Shake. You can then increase the length of your next Cleanse Day until you are getting the full benefit.

Schedule your Cleanse Days in advance

Knowing in advance what days you’ll be cleansing can help you become mentally prepared for them and avoid scheduling conflicts.

If you have plans for a business lunch or a family dinner, or have a physically exhaustive workout planned, then a Shake Day might be more suitable. Make sure that you are setting yourself up for success on your Cleanse Day.

Stay Busy ~ Cleanse with a friend or as a team

Having a cleansing buddy can help keep you accountable when temptation strikes. The IsaBody Challenge is a great way to accomplish your goals with amazing community support.

Ever notice that when you have a slow day you tend to snack a lot more? While everyone is different, many cleansers find that the easiest days to complete Cleanse Days are on days when they’re busy.

Consider planning your Cleanse Day on a day when you have several errands to run or on a day full of appointments and meetings.

Engage in light exercise

If you put moderate, low-intensity exercise into play on Cleanse Days, you’ll reduce your stress and you’ll be better able to work through any Cleanse Day anxiety.

If temptation strikes, taking a brisk walk is your first choice to help you to stay motivated. Gentle exercise can be great when you’re cleansing. Save your hard workouts for days when you are fuelling your body for performance.

If you slip up, don’t give up

Like any new habit you are trying to form, it takes time to adjust before a new habit becomes second nature. If you’re not able to complete an entire Cleanse Day as planned, don’t beat yourself up about it.

Customizing your Cleanse Day experience to fit with your personality and lifestyle can be an effective approach for achieving lasting success.
